Day off

Today I took Shelly to the mall and we tried to decide on CME trips and on refinancing our home.

I took Hannah out on a date. She is getting all A’s at school and has plenty of friends.

She wanted to buy pumpkins and get hot chocolate and watch the ducks while we talked.

Fall Break Fun Day Two

Today Rachey worked. Shelly and I went on a run while Luke rode his bike.

We went to the Church Museum and saw the quilts and art and played with the hands-on stuff. The girls lied down in the bunks mimicking a sea voyage. They drew pictures.

We ate at Crown Burger and Red Mango.

Fall Break Fun Day One

What a great time together. I had Thursday and Friday off, but will work Saturday and Sunday. So, we started Thursday morning and had fun through Friday evening.

Our kids are fantastic. They can have fun at home, at a museum, and of course outside on the ride. In this entry, part one, I show some photos of Thursday.

Monte never eats berries. . . unless I am picking them, then he helps out. I was obviously picking berries this time.

Luke helped me out as well. Two buddies working with me.

We rode the 9 miles from Rainbow gardens to Riverdale Road on the Ogden parkway path.

We ate at Arby’s, Cortney’s choice. We went to Red Mango, Rachey’s fav.

One last warm fall day

We had a gorgeous fall day, warm and clear and sunny.
Luke had his last game and played fantastically.  He has energy, he is aggressive but not too rough.  He really can move that ball down the field.  The coach has to yell to his team to "cover that kid".

He worked out pretty hard.  Look how sweaty he got!

 Today was Third Grade field trip day. We rode the front runner and then went to the planetarium and the discovery zone at the Gateway.
Luke made llama ears and wore them around.
It was the coldest day in months, and Lukey wore shorts and a t-shirt, and luckily did bring a sweatshirt.

 It was a beautiful day today.  It started with a cool sunrise.  Then we listened to conference and drove to South Jordan, where the wind is.

 We flew the new "kite".  It was fun, but Lukey got pulled across the park.  Grandma Trish is a natural.
